- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Leica Geosystems Inc. for the acquisition of Nine (9) TM5100A Theodolites. Each Theodolite is comprised of the following items: One (1) TM5100A Motorized Precision Theodolite with Autocollimation, basic, P/N 575657; One (1) AL51 Autocollimation lamp, P/N575725; One (1) GEB187 Plug-in Battery for TPS5000 series theodolites, P/N 667147; One (1) GKL22-1 Battery Charger for GEB68, GEB187 or GEB70-single only, P/N 639959; One (1) GDF22-1 Tribrach with optical plummet, grey, P/N 575733; One (1) AC to DC Transformers, P/N 8201487; One (1) Y-Cable RS232, GEV187, P/N 734698; and One (1) NIST Certification for Theodolites. This contract will also include an Option Quantity in FY07 for Twelve (12) TM5100A Theodolites. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
