Description

The work of this project consists of the removal and disposal of existing carpet and vinyl floor covering and furnishing and installing new carpet, vinyl and ceramic tile floor covering per specifications in two (2) residential homes and one (1) office building. Affected residences are identified as Quarters 103 and 112 and the office building is identified as Building 111 located in the Headquarters area of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Billings County, Medora, North Dakota. Cost range: Less than $25,000. Period of performance: May 1, 2006 through June 16, 2006. This RFQ will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are required to register on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (http://www.ccr.gov). Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024, and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). Should any contract result from this solicitation the contractor shall be required to provide an Alternative Payment Protection equal to 100 percent of the award amount. The contractor shall also be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 442210, P & S : Z199, with a size standard of $6.5 million. Solicitation issue date is on or about (O/A) March 17, 2006 and will close O/A April 17, 2006 at 4:30pm MST (local time) unless extensions are issued in an amendment. The Government reserves the right to cancel this announcement and the resulting solicitation. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation.
