- Description
- Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to initiate a request for quotes using the procurement process prescribed in Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The require ment is for the lease of equipment to dig out and clean out upland drainage ditches around the area from pond neck road to Pearce Creek Lake. Clean out the fall ditch from Pearce Creek Lake to Elk River. Cleaning the area and pushing material is required. All work will be in Cecil County, Maryland. Lease one (1) Track Mounted Excavator with operator with a minimum reach at ground line 35 feet ditch cleaning bucket without teeth, ? Cubic Yard or greater, 36 inch digging bucket with teeth, ? Cubic Yard or greater; and an operator for 30 work days. One (1) D6 LGP Dozer, with operators for 30 work days for Earleville, MD. The contractor shall provide all work in accordance with the contract specifications. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing a ll necessary labor, material, services and equipment necessary to provide all equipment as listed in these specifications. This notice is a Request for Quotations. Request for Quotations RFQ Number W912BU-06-T-0031 has been assigned. The solicitation wil l be available on or about 13 March 2006. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://www.fedteds.gov on or after the issue date of the solicitation. Quotes must be received by 29 March 2006. Quotes along with Representations and certifications can be mailed to Department of the Army US Army Corps of Engineers District, Contracting Division, Room 643, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
