This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number W912EE-06-T-0016 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 2005-08 Correction. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 811219 (SIC 7629) WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $6,000,000.00 FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT WITH A BASE AND FOUR OPTION YEARS. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement for Annual maintenance for laboratory instruments. The scope of work for this maintenance contract includes: Two scheduled visits for preventive maintenan ce per year; Unlimited service visits for routine repairs; Cost for all repair parts, boards, and pumps included in contract; Cost for all on-site labor, travel and expenses included in contract; and Quick service response once notified of service/repair n eeded.
