This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on o r about 17 March 2006. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided. It is the Offerors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. Desc ription of work: A Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Multi-Task Construction and Design/Build Construction contract for new construction of, and, repairs, additions, and alterations to buildings, roads, drainage systems and utility systems including asb estos and lead base paint abatement, restoration or modernization of a wide variety of facilities, and tasks include (but are not limited to) planning, design and installation/construction of the following systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, bu ilding envelope, fire protection, AT/FP, or total renovation.. This contract will include Time and Material (T&M) construction provisions. Work will be performed primarily in Georgia and South Carolina, but may be located at other Federal facilities loca ted within the geographic boundaries of the Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division. The task orders issued under these contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Construction, T&M Construction, Firm Fixed Price Design/Build, or T&M Design/Build. Task or ders are anticipated to be within a price range of $750,000 to $4,500,000. Up to five Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCS) may be awarded to Offerors whose proposal conform to the RFP and provide the best value to the Government. Each contract sha ll be for a period of three years and shall not exceed $14.5 million. The contract will be solicited and procured using a Request for Proposals (RFP) Performance Price Trade-Off in accordance with FAR Part 15.101. .
