Description
The Department of Defense is seeking qualified sources to provide the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Variant of the Joint Service Light Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance System (JSLNBCRS). A total of twenty-two (22) systems will be provi ded. The JSLNBCRS consists of a base vehicle, Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) detection equipment suite, and command and control suite. The base vehicle consists of a Light Armored Vehicle (LAV), a Life Support Subsystem (LSS), and a Power Supply Subsy stem (PSS). The NBC detection equipment suite consists of sensors that provide point and standoff detection of nuclear, biological and chemical agents, as well as a surface sampler, sample collection subsystem, and marking subsystem. The command and cont rol suite consists of a Central Data Processing Unit (CDPU), radios for voice and data communication, a navigation subsystem, and internal intercom. The proposed contract effort requires the integration of Government-Furnished NBC Sensors and Communications equipment, and Joint Reconnaissance Applications Software (JRAS) into the Government-Furnished LAV. Interested sources must have the necessary eng ineering, integration, and logistics experience to perform the contract. A production facility is required to perform the effort. Interested sources should submit a capabilities statement detailing their experience in systems integration, engineering, and logistics experience, along with a detailed description of their production facility. Upon review of the capability statements, t he Government may request a meeting with the interested companies and a tour of their facility.
