Description
The government wishes to purchase 1ea, Base Package - Random Password Management Enterprise Edition for SQL Server to include 1 web server and 500 managed systems 1 year software support agreement. And, 2000ea Random Password Management Enterprise Ed ition for SQL Server Per managed system licenses 1 year software support agreement. The software should provide the following: Both Win32 Application and the web-based recovery console integrate with SQL. Comprehensive Logging for immediate confirmation of success and failure and for an audit trail, which also stores SQL. Report Generator within in the tool to generate reports on managed systems, including pertinent system information. Automatic and Dynamic Group Maintenance. Must automatically maintain mac hine sets dynamically based on OU container/LDAP Path, IP Range, Data Source or Domain. Dynamic Group Properties allows you to edit for frequency of update, filter for specific machine types, and explicitly include and exclude machines. Alternate Administr ator Capability allows you to enter in alternate credentials to access different sets of machines that require different log-in credentials allowing for global changes. Ability to encrypt passwords in SQL DB, including AES encryption. Will Automatically re try offline machines and allow you to add machines or change parameters to jobs with a simple right-click within the jobs monitor. Passwords can be changed on the fly or on a schedule. Allows the end-user to create password complexity and it will generate either unique passwords or user defined passwords. Will find the built-in administrator account based on SID, so it does not matter if this account has been renamed (and the built in gu est account). Multi-threaded operation will spawn 100 threads at a time for speed and to quickly close security holes. Agent-less: no need to install, deploy, or maintain agents on remote machines. Web-based console allows you to delegate who can recover p asswords for specific machine sets. Web-based console provides a comprehensive audit trail of all program logons and password retrievals. And, once a password is retrieved from the web-console, a job is created to automatically change a password within a s pecific window of time. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation services as the Request for Quotation. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items ap ply to this acquisition. Best Value to the Government will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Of feror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Term s and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due by 0900 on Wednesday, 8 Mar 06.
