AMENDMENT 2 TO FA8601-06-T-0061 Statement of Work, paragraph 6 is changed to read as follows: Contractor shall provide three 14 mm Video Display Screens 10' x 14' in size (Barco D14 or equal) complete with all ground support truss structure, not less than 500' of BNC cable per screen and signal booster if required. QUESTIONS ON FA8601-06-T-0061 Following are questions received and answers regarding this solicitation: 1. Will contractor run the show or will Wright-Patterson AFB provide operators? Answer: Air Force engineers will run show, contractor must be available for troubleshooting equipment problems. 2. Is more information available on the band's monitoring needs? Answer: 6 monitor mixes for the band, 3-way mike split to accommodate front of house monitors and recording/video 3. Is the band being closed miced or area miced? Answer: Closed miced 4. Is show being broadcast? Answer: Recorded/filmed for future use. 5. What is the placement of the video screens? Answer: One screen by the stage and two screens several hundred feet out from stage left and right. 6. Can one screen hang from the fly bay of the stage? No, cannot hang a screen from the fly bay. SYNOPSITATION FOR PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT LEASE AND SUPPORT SERVICES FA8601-06-T-0061 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for production equipment lease and support services for the 2006 Air Force Tattoo to be held at Wright-Patterson AFB OH on 30 Jun 2006 (rain date 1 Jul 2006), a commercial service, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Due date for quote packages is Thursday, 9 Mar 06, 11:00 AM EST. Quote package should be submitted to 88 CONS/PKBB (Helen Williams), 1940 Allbrook Drive, Room 109, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433, or faxed to 937-656-1412, or e-mailed to Helen.Williams@wpafb.af.mil. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA8601-06-T-0061 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). No hard copies will be sent. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07. Proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The associated North American Industrial Code (NAIC) is 532490, size standard of $6.5 Million applies. INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated with 1 (one) line item as described below. STAGE, SOUND AND LIGHT EQUIPMENT: Contractor shall provide all of the following: Rental and delivery of mobile stage units, public address system, scaffolding, towers, par lighting, video display screens and any other equipment as required to meet requirements of Statement of Work dated 16 Feb 06. Personnel, labor, travel, meals, lodging as required to meet requirements of Statement of Work dated 16 Feb 06. Equipment shall be on site for load-in on Monday, 26 Jun 06, for rehearsals. Actual event takes place on Friday, 30 Jun 06 (or Saturday, 1 Jul 06, if rain date is needed). Contractor will provide all required technicians for setup, rehearsals, show, and teardown. Load-out will take place immediately following the event on Friday, 30 Jun 06 (or Saturday, 1 Jul 06, if rain date is needed). Estimated number of hours for technicians is in Statement of Work.
