- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB is issuing a sources sought synopsis to control the aquatic weeds located on the Maxwell AFB lakes. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730 with a size standard of $6,000,000.00. Aquatic Weeds control should conform with common commercial practices in regards to this type of service. Vendor must guarantee that vegetation will be controlled at 95% or higher for a period of three months after application of aquatic weed control agents. Vendors must also ensure complete application coverage across the Base lakes. Coordination will be done with Grounds Maintenance Manager in order to acquire access to Maxwell AFB. A Site Visit will be conducted after the Sources Sought Notice's closing date for interested vendors. Interested vendors must submit their quotes NO LATER THAN 12:00 p.m., CST, Thursday, 09 March 2006. No telephonic or written requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All prospective vendors will be responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation, amendment or any other information pertaining to this requirement. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Vendors not registered with Central Contractor Registration are ineligible for award. Vendors may register at http://www.ccr.gov/. 2.
