Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking contractors to provide centralized periodical subscription services for the 157 Department of Veterans Affairs Library Network (VALNET) libraries. The Contractor shall be responsible for the management, labor and equipment necessary to provide serial subscription services to various Department of Veterans Affairs Libraries located throughout the United States. Subscriptions shall include single or multiple addresses for domestic and foreign serials and periodicals, and related services. Related services include ordering subscriptions in a timely fashion, paying publishers in full and in advance for annual subscriptions; ensuring complete and timely delivery of ordered subscriptions; and providing reports and other administrative support for serials management. Additional requirements include providing access to a web-based, claims service, with a print backup and a required task of providing the option of accessing a web-based serials check-in system. This will be a multiple award contract to more than one contractor with base year and four (4) one year options to renew at the VA's discretion. This is an open market survey for those with none GSA and GSA Contracts. Interested, responsible businesses must submit sufficient information to assess your company's ability to satisfy these requirements. Identify your business size, any contract vehicles such as as GSA schedule and provide an electronic version of the contract, if any, with your response. NO TELEPHONE INFORMATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
