- VISN 18, in the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to a firm doing business as "UpToDate" for point of care clinical referenance. The material is written by an international faculity of over 2600 authors. Program material consists of the following speciaties: Adult Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension, and Rheumatology. Software also contains more than 10,000 graphics, 10000,000 Medline abstracts as well as a complete drug database. A new version is released every 4 months or at least 3 times per year. All new and revised material is supplied at no additional cost. This award will be subject to the availability of funds.
