Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number (RFQ 0141118) incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-08. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 334611 and the small business size standard is $21,000,000 employees. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated amount for this procurement is approximately $73,000. The Federal Bureau of Investigation plans to award a purchase order, on a sole-source basis, to Astra Schedule, 4739 Belleview Suite 200, Kansas City, Missouri for the purchase of an unlimited license for the Astra Schedule Platinum Upgrade (from Blue) and Implementation Services with four years of annual maintenance. This software interfaces with student information system and provides classroom and instructor scheduling. Its scheduling engine supports traditional scheduling, block scheduling, and timetabling. It supports room, building, region, and campus definitions. It allows sections to be created, and supports section clusters and cross listing of courses. It allows the definition of multiple simultaneous terms and cross term scheduling. It provides weighted optimization of resources based on room type, room features, campus regions, buildings, and rooms. It supports event scheduling and event workflow management. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for this announcement clearly identifying how they can fulfill this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a quotation to include product/functional specifications/ descriptions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all data received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
