- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Consolidated Operations Acquisition Center (COAC) intends to purchase a Pathway MRI Brand 8 Channel Carotid Phased Array Magnetic Resonance Coil for the Philips 3T system, parts number #Cairns - Phil3T. The system is manufactured by Pathway MRI, 101 Nickerson Street, Suite 206, Seattle, Washington. The system is required to support the Philips 3T system and is the only dedicated device available that is optimized for carotid imaging, and it perfectly fits the Philips 3T system. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the requested product. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the Offeror?s best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334510 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees which are applicable for this requirement. This requirement is a small business set-aside. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the product in this synopsis should submit a quotation to the below address. The quotation shall include the itemized price, commercial price list, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin) Shipping cost, if applicable, business size, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted. The Offeror must also register in the Government?s Registry System note: www.ccr.gov. The quotation must reference ?Solicitation number? NHLBI-PB-2006-118-DDC. Quotations will be due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or March 16, 2006, by 8:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Consolidated Operations Acquisition Center, Procurement Branch, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Suite 6042, Bethesda, MD 20892-7902, Attention: Deborah Coulter. Fax quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
