- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform maintenance dredging in Fishing Creek, USCG Station Annapolis, MD. Major work items include the following: Dredge 7450 foot long by 40 foot wide channel to a depth of 10 feet at mean low water in Fishing Creek at the USCG Station Annapolis, MD using mechanical means. Deposit dredge material on barges and transport by barge and deposit by hydraulic method into the Maryland Port Administration?s Cox Creek dredge material placement site. The estimated amount of material to be removed is 40,000 cubic yards. Perform before and after soundings of area to be dredged. Unit items will cover additional and overdepth dredging. This procurement is estimated between $1M and $5M. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 237990/$18.5M. Note regarding dredging: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.
