- This is a reposting of a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation originally posted on 1/26/2006. It is being reposted to allow for uploading of the solicitation document. Sealed bids are solicited for IFB No. C05189/CPR Monthly On-Site Transit Bus Cleaning Services throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Work consists of, but is not limited to: services and materials to: wipe down drivers wells, walls, seats, wheel wells, stanchions, and interior signage, ceiling, and lights; clean interior windows, mirrors, fareboxes, steps, ventilation system as well as detritus from passenger accidents; remove graffiti, gum, pests and insects, and debris; sweep and mop floor and vacuum interior. All 1,500 buses in the fleet are to be cleaned on a monthly basis with Work Hours between 8:00 pm and 4:00 am, Monday-Friday. Bid opening o/a March 15, 2006. Multi-Year Contract with a One-Year Base Period and Four Option Years.
