- This is published as a Sole Source announcement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code for this action is 541611. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA intends to award a sole source contract extension to Rome Research Corporation, 314 S. Jay Street, Rome, New York 13440-5600, for the following work: operation and maintenance of transmitters, receivers, associated antennas, and supplies operating under Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMSPAC) Wahiawa, Hawaii, in Dixon, CA. The proposed contract extension is necessary to avoid interruption of services, pending award of a follow-on contract. The follow-on contract will be awarded using the Seaport-E contract vehicle. The proposed contract extension will ensure continued and uninterrupted maintenance and operation of communication systems that are vital to the successful accomplishment of the Navy?s mission. The proposed contract extension is for a six-month period, to commence April 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties may submit a statement of interest only. See Note 22.
