- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia intends to acquire all labor, supervision, management, equipment and transportation necessary to provide Base Support Services for the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The work functions are as follows: housing, family housing maintenance, bachelor housing, facility support, sustainment, restoration, modernization, facilities services, janitorial, pest control, refuse collection, grounds maintenance and base support vehicles and equipment. This is a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity type award option type contract. The contract shall be for a base period of one year with four one year options and five one year award option periods not to exceed one hundred and twenty (120) months. The proposed solicitation is unrestricted. Specifications will be available on or about 27 March 2006 by internet only. The internet website home page address is http://esol.navfac.navy.mil It is anticipated that a pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on 12 through 15 April 2006. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is 28 April 2006. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
