Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, and transportation to perform physical condition assessments of 40 existing reservoirs with equipment dams to identify and document any visual deficiencies to the dam and its appurtenance works. There are 40 sites to be examined and the the bid schedule is per site. The successful contractor will also be required to attend an Embankment Dam Certification Training to be held at the Bureau of Land Management's training center located in Phoenix, AZ, on the dates of May 3 through 5, 2006. Project shall be completed within 300 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of March 27, 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541370. Recommend that prospective vendors complete their annual representations and certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be available on during the week of March 12, 2006, on our web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the request for quotations will be sent out by this office and will be available on http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Response date for quotes will be on or about April 14, 2006. This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside. Small business size standard is $31.0 million. Award will be a fixed price service contract and the Service Contract Wage Determinations will apply. See Note 1.
