BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR DRAFT TUBE MAN-RIDER AIR WINCH AT ICE HARBOR DAM SCOPE Contractor shall furnish and deliver one (2) new draft tube man-rider air winch, Ingersoll-Rand model FA2i-Mr/05126 Force 5i Man-Rider Air Winch or equal, to Ice Harbor Dam. Government personnel will install the new man-rider air winch. The contractor sh all also provide three (6) Operation and Maintenance Manuals describing the setup, parts, operation and annual maintenance for the draft tube man-rider air winch. The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be warranted for materials and labor for a peri od of no less than one year. RATED CAPACITY The rated capacity for the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be 3186 lbs for the top layer at an 8:1 man-rider safety factor. The rated capacity for the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be 4400 lbs at a 5:1 safety factor for utility rating. LINE SPEED The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall have a line speed factory set at 75 fpm. The line speed of the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall have the ability to be reduced to 52 fpm at personnel rated loads and 55 fpm at utility rated loads. MOTORS The motor for the new draft tube man-rider winch shall be a radial piston. DRUM LENGTH The drum length for the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be 8-inches. WIRE ROPE CAPACITY The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall have a wire rope capacity of 454-feet of 1/2 IWRC wire rope. The drum shall be grooved for 1/2 diameter wire rope. BRAKES The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall come with the following three (3) brakes: an automatic disc brake, an automatic drum brake and a manual drum brake. OPERATING PRESSURE The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall operate at 90psi and 335 cfm at the motor inlet. TESTING The new draft tube man-r ider air winch shall be tested in accordance with the attached testing certificate. LIMIT SWITCHES The new draft tube man-rider air winch shall come with an upper and lower rotary limit switches. PAINT The paint for the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be a marine 812 top coat over sand blast and carbozinc. PILOT THROTTLE LEVER The throttle lever for the new draft tube man-rider air winch shall be remote on 6-feet of line. SCHEDULE Delivery shall commence no later than 60 days after award of contract. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with the Government Personnel at site to deliver and unload the equipment Normal working hours at Ice Harbor Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The draft tube man-rider air winch shall arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during normal working days. This is to allow for unloading and inspection. The delive ry shall be made to the south side of the dam. The delivery address is as follows: Ice Harbor Dam 2763 Monument Drive Burbank, Washington 99323 Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions shall apply to this acquisition: 52.252-2, 52.211-6, 52.2 04-7, 52.232-33, 252.225-7000, 252.204-7004 Alternate A, 252.243-7001, 52.204-3, 52.219-1, 213-4. The Far Clause 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature shall apply to this acquisition: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.219-6.
