Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is soliciting prospective contractors capable of improving the Receive Signal Loss (RSL) in the microwave communication links along the Cape Cod Canal, Buzzards, Bay, Massachusetts. The work invo lves modifying the existing links and bringing the RSL 43dBm for sta. 160 and 36dBm for sta. 260 Excepted levels as calculated Path Loss and fade margins by Harris Corporation Microwave Division on 5 December 2003. (Microwave Systems Engineering and Reme diation of the existing RSL to excepted levels stated above). The work is to performed at the Cape Cod Canal, Buzzards Bay, MA. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 16 March 2006. Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is unrestricted.
