- Description
- Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment to remove and replace existing 126 new boiler tubes. Remove 126 leaking boiler tubes and dispose from job site. Furnish and install 126 new ASME code size 2 1/2 diameter tubes by 168-1/2 in len gth. Tubes shall be Sa-178 grade A, American made with a wall thickness of 0.105 inch. Clean rear end piece of Morrison Tube and spray dye penetrant to check for cracks. Repair cracks in Morrison Tube as required by ASME Code,If found Leaking. Seal weld, roll bead or flare new boiler tubes as recommended by the boiler manufacture. Hydro pressure test to check for leaks after repairs. Safety relief valves shall be left on boiler at time of test. Furnish a signed R-1 inspection report as required by code for any welding done. Clean up and dispose of debris from job site. All materials and labor shall be warrant for 1 year. The solicitation will be posted on or about 6 Mar 06 with the site visit location and time.
