Description
The purpose of this modification is to correct the Contractor and Cage Code on the synopsis. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS CORPORATION, 600 HICKS RD, ROLLING MEADOWS, IL 60008-1014 (Cage Code 26916 ) under the authority of 6.302 under contract F09603-03-D-0002. See notes 22 & 26 @ http://www.eps.gov/Numbered_Notes.html ///////////////////////////////// This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering Services in support of Obsolete Part and Vanishing Vendor issues with the ALQ-155, ALQ-122 AND ALT-16 Systems. This task provides Engineering Services to resolve Obsolete Part and Vanishing Vendor (OP/VV) issues with the ALQ-155, ALQ-122, and ALT-16 Systems? line replaceable units (LRUs) and to increase the realiability and maintainability of the subassemblies in the LRUs and LRUs themselves. This task also provides for studies of specific LRU?s and these systems in support of the identification and resolution of OP/VV issues. This task provides engineering services to investigate obsolete part and vanishing vendor (OP/VV) issues with the ALQ-155 receivers. The contractor shall investigate alternatives for the replacement of the receivers and present these alternatives at a design review. Period of Performance shall be 24 months after receipt of order (ARO). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS CORPORATION, 1580A NURSERY RD, LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD 21090-0000 (Cage Code 97942 ) under the authority of 6.302 under contract F09603-03-D-0002.
