- Type: Pre-solicitation Classification: Y - Construction of Structures and Facilities Subject: Cemetery Improvements at Massachusetts National Cemetery Solicitation Number: VA-786A-06-IB-0005 Response Due: Thursday April 6, 2006, 2:00 PM Eastern Time Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking a contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies to perform and complete all work necessary for Cemetery Expansion, Project No. 818CM2029, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA, in accordance with the drawings, specifications, terms, and conditions of the solicitation. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed-price construction contract. Work to be completed within 540 calendar days. NAICS Code 237990/size standard: $31.0 million. The anticipated cost range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Solicitation will be made available after March 6, 2006. Electronic solicitations are not available. Requests for hard copy drawings and specifications shall be obtained by contacting MFPA Inc. Requestors will be charged $100.00 non-refundable deposit for each set of drawings and specs, with a limit of three (3) sets. Deposit must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order, made payable to the "MFPA." All requests shall be on company letterhead to include point of contact, physical mailing address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address. The Solicitation material will also be provided to the following source where paper copies may be reviewed and/or obtained for a fee: McGraw Hill Construction Dodge Plan Room, located at 176 Willard St, Quincy MA 02169, phone number 781-860-6060, fax number 781-860-6002. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS; Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By registering for the "Register to Receive Notification" list at http://www.fbo.gov, you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of am endments will be provided. Potential bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any amendments to the solicitation.
