- Description
- The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany intends to issue a Firm Fixed- Price contract. The scope of work requires the successful Contractor to construct a 2,400 square meter, one level unclassified office building, including ground floor and a basement. Poured in place concrete super structure with Jerusalem stone veneer and common Class B office building interior finishes. Entry courtyards one level parking structure of approx. 2,200 sqm, and Compound Access Control facilities included in this work. Most site work, road work, furniture and furnishings, by others. Coordination with a site work and foundation work contractor already on site will be required. Complete electronic Drawings and Specifications will be issued with the request for proposal. Documents prepared by a local Israeli A/E and fully reviewed by OBO. Zoning approval by the Jerusalem city authorities has been obtained and is in place. A pre-construction conference and site visit is scheduled for April 5, 2006, details of which will be announced. The estimated price for this project is between $5 and $10 million U.S. Dollars for the entire project. Proposals will be due late April 2006 and it is intended to award the contract in May 2006. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform construction work in Jerusalem. In conjunction with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), requests for the solicitation package shall contain a statement that licensing and other requirements to perform work in Jerusalem have been reviewed/researched prior to application. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures.
