Description

Grapple Piling and Machine Site Preparation Services for the Colville National Forest. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS code is 115310, size standard is $16.5 million. The Colville National Forest requires services for mechanical slash treatment and fuel reduction. The areas of work will include the Three Rivers, Newport, and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts located in the Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity contract for a Base Year and Two Option Year periods. Work will be assigned by the placement of Task Orders issued against the basic contract. The physical work period will be identified in individual Task Order. This project will be advertised as a written proposal. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 14, 2006. Proposals will be due on or about April 13, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
