- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal is forthcoming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 3/17/06, with the Response date on or around 4/17/06. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: YPC05329000181; NSN: 5945-00-244-4763; Nomenclature: Solenoid, Electrical. Approved sources: CMJ Corp. (55641), Loar Mfg. (53260). This will be a large purchase contract. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. The quantity will be for approximately 1770 each. Shipping will be to stock locations. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See numbered notes: 26. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency.
