- Description
- This will be a fixed-price acquisition for twenty (26) each LIG Filter Assemblies applicable to the AN/AAQ-14. NSN: 1240-01-302-6350AY, P/N60511490-39, Matl: alloys, Func: Optical Assembly Polarizer/Rhomb Lantirn. Destination: FB 2065 (Robins AFB GA). The government is in possession of an adequate data package, therefore, proposals will be accepted from offerors other than the qualified sources for this item. The solicitation will be issued with Insurance Policy Procedures contained therein. These procedures provide for uninterrupted supply. If a currently unqualified source is the low offeror, then 2 ea. First Articles will be required to pass testing and the MEQ of 10 each will be awarded to the qualified source with the balance awarded to the low offeror upon acceptance of the First Articles. The data contains EXPORT CONTROLLED INFORMATION. As a result, the data will not be posted with the solicitation; instead, instructions as to how access to the data may be obtained will be posted with the solicitation. The acquisition will not be set aside for small businesses. The approximate issue date will be 22 November 2005 with an approximate response date of 22 December 2005.
