Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Onix Networking Corporation of Westlake, OH for the purchase of Vivisimo Content Integrator Software and support for the period of April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007. This software and support is currently known to be available only through Onix Networking Corporation. This software is used in conjunction with the previous purchase by the SSA?s of the Vivisimo Clustering Engine which allows multi-source searches that are filtered, merged, ranked and automatically presented in groups based on content similarities. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA?s requirements are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA shall issue a sole source award under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by March 13, 2006. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
