- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under PRV551315339A005. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase on a sole source (National Stock Number 3940-01-347-8660) basis the following item(s): (1) 4 sets 17 ton vehicle lifting slings (Size 17), with short and long extension legs, and 2 spreader bars per set of sling. The slings are to be manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in Army Spec MIL-DTL-32108. Delivery will be 45 days after the receipt of order, FOB: Destination: Point Destination to Williamsburg VA. The slings are manufactured by The Caldwell Group Rockford, IL.
