- Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award sole source Contract N00024-06-R-4307 to Frontier Electronic Systems, Incorporated of 4500 W 6th Ave, PO Box 1023, Stillwater, OK 74076 to provide for the production of AN/SPQ-14(V)SP Advanced Sensor Distribution System (ASDS). The Contractor shall furnish services and materials necessary for the production of up to six hundred (600) variations of ASDS program equipment, which consists of AN/SPQ-12(V) Radar Display & Distribution System (RADDS) equipment (less the AN/SPA-25G Radar Repeater), Stand-alone Radar Distribution Switchboards, Upgrade Kits, Piece Parts, and a Technical Data Package. Frontier Electronic Systems is the original designer and developer and hence, the only known source for production of ASDS. Therefore, no other firm possesses the technical expertise necessary to perform the work that will be required by the Government. The contract will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein.
