BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR ANTI-KEYSTONE BRAIDED PACKING ICE HARBOR LOCK & DAM SCOPE Contractor shall furnish and deliver four (4) 50-pound spools of densely braided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102-SC anti-keystone 1-inch packing. Contractor shall furnish and deliver six (6) 50-pound spools of densely braided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102 anti-keystone 3/4-inch packing. Contractor shall furnish and deliver two (2) 50-pound spools of densely braided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102-SC anti-keystone 5/8-inch packing. Contractor shall furnish and deliver two (2) 50-pound spools of densely bra ided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102-SC anti-keystone 1/2-inch packing. Contractor shall furnish and deliver one (1) 50-pound spools of densely braided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102-SC anti-keystone 3/8-inch packing. Contractor shall furnish and deliver one (1) 25-pound spools of densely braided fiber packing, NEBCO style 102-SC anti-keystone 1/4-inch packing. Each packing spool shall be of continuous length. 1-INCH PACKING SPECIFICATIONS The four (4) 50-pound spools of 1-inch packing shall be 1-inch x 1-inch made from a composition of tetrafuroethylene (TFE) and graphite fiber yarn. Each packing spool shall be of continuous length. The packing shall use multi-cord silicone rubber o-ring cords within the braided packing. The packing shall be designed so that it naturally squares itself around the shaft to evenly distribute gland pressure. 3/4-INCH PACKING SPECIFICATIONS The six (6) 50-pound spools of 3/4-inch packing shall be 3/4-inch x 3/4-inch made from a composition of tetrafuroethylene (TFE) and graphite fiber yarn. Each packing spool shall be of continuous length. The packing shall be designed so that it naturally squares itself around the shaft to evenly distribute gland pressure. 5/8-INCH PACKING SPECIFICATIONS The two (2) 50-pound spools of 5/8-inch packing shall be 5/8-inch x 5/8-inch made from a composition of tetrafuroethylene (TFE) and graphite fiber yarn. Each packing spool shall be of continuous length. The packing shall use multi-cord silicone rubber o- ring cords within the braided packing. The packing shall be designed so that it naturally squares itself around the shaft to evenly distribute gland pressure. 1/2-INCH PACKING SPECIFICATIONS The two (2) 50-pound spools of 1/2-inch packing shall be 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch made from a composition of tetrafuroethylene (TFE) and graphite fiber yarn. The packing shall be designed so that it naturally squares itself around the shaft to evenly distribute gland pressure. SHEDULE Delivery shall commence no later than 60 days after award of contract. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with Government Personnel at the site to deliver and unload the equipment. Normal working hours at Ice Harbor Lock & Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The anti-keystone packing shall arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. during normal working days. This is to allow for unloading and inspection. The deliv ery shall be made to the South side of the Dam. The delivery address is as follows: Ice Harbor Lock & Dam 2763 Monument Drive Burbank, Washington 99323 Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions shall apply to this acquisition: 52.252-2, 52.211-6, 52.2 04-7, 52.232-33, 252.225-7000, 252.204-7004 Alternate A, 252.243-7001, 52.204-3, 52.219-1, 213-4.
