- Description
- The Northern Region Contracting Center-Leavenworth has a requirement for approximately 28 executive workstations for the Lewis and Clark Center, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 66027. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materia ls necessary to produce or acquire and install executive office furniture . This will be a Request for Proposal. The solicitation will be issued under FAR Part 13.5,Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Delivery will be FOB destination. Award will be made based upon best value to the government. Evaluations will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. The solicitation package will be posted on the Federal Business Opp ortunities website FedBizOpps which can be accessed at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about, March 20, 2006. The specific closing date for proposal submissions date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies o f the solicitation package, facsimile, telephone, written or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate to government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
