- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md, has a requirement to purchase Two (2) complete High Speed Imaging Systems. The Cameras must be extreme ultra high resolution double sh ot digital range cameras to be used on all large caliber and twenty five millimeter testing . The cameras must have a resolution of 4032 horizontal X 2688 vertical with the capability of two full resolution images with a minimum interframe time of two hun dred microseconds. The high resolution imaging system must be able to communicate over long distances 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet giving the Imaging team maximum flexibility. The system must be capable of exposure times ranging from 20 nanoseconds to 10 milliseconds. The system's software must be able to analyze the imagery providing the team with the increased capability of velocity, distance, and spin rate. Each system requires delivery with two strobes, one heavy duty tripod. The system must be cap able of configurement to C-mount and F-mount lenses. Includes control and analysis software and lens support bars, 2 heavy duty tripods, 2 tripod heads, 4 each Drello Flash Energy: 100 Joule/Flash and 90-120v, 40-60 Hz power supply. Half Crest value time of flash, 25+/-5 microseconds. Flash sequence: 3 flashes/min. max., flash control through signal: +4-30 V, pulse width 200ns, input resistance 15 Kohm; Splash Proof Housing. DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION. Offerors state estimated delivery date.
