- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to provide Engineering Services and Technical Services in support of the AN/ALR-56C system. The purpose of this task is to provide engineering and technical services to develop form, fit and function replacements and the associated Technical Data Packages for the following AN/ALR-56C subassemblies, LRU-6 5A4 Down Converter and LRU-6 5A3 Down Converter. The goal of this project is to solve a parts availability problem and improve the reliability and maintainability of the system by replacing components that are obsolete or have exhibited low Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) with new form, fit, and function assemblies. Period of Performance shall be 12 months after receipt of order (ARO). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS, 65 SPIT BROOK RD, NASHUA NH 03060-6909 (Cage Code 94117 ) under the authority of 6.302 under contract F09603-03-D-0001.
