Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for the purchase of Typographic Currency Overprinting and Processing Equipment (COPE) Green Ink, BEP stock # 1I000347 in accordance with BEP Specification No. TCGB-1E, dated September 1, 2005. An unrestricted full and open competitive solicitation is planned. A Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP 9000 Blue Mound RD, Fort Worth, TX. 76131 and BEP Loading Dock at “D” Street, between 13th and 14th Sts., SW Washington, D.C. The period of performance will be for one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) 12-month option years. Estimated annual quantities are 8,500 lbs. The procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 15. Offerors will be requested to submit a 50 lb. material sample with their offer for test and evaluation. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the BEP, price and non-price factors considered. The solicitation will be available on or about February 27, 2006. BEP is posting this announcement, as well as the final solicitation on GSA’s Federal Business Opportunities webpage at http://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors are encouraged to register for FedBiz electronic notification for issuance of the final solicitation, amendments and/or changes to this notice.
