- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AV6R103800R177-0001 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07(FAC), 2 February 2006. The U.S Special Operations Command has a requirement to procure the following Aerospace Optics,Inc part numbered or equal Light-Emitting Diode Switches for the A/MH-6M Aircraft: Part Numbers Quantity LED-42-44-KG-30318 10 ea, LED-42-44-KG-30317 10 ea, LED-42-47-KB-30321 10 ea, LED-42-44-KG-30316 10 ea, LED-42-44-KG-30315 10 ea, LED-42-44-KG-30314 10 ea, LED-42-47-SE-30326 10 ea, 95-6C-54-K6-70158 10 ea, 95-40-58-S6-70160 10 ea, 95-40-58-K6-70159 10 ea. Inspection/ Acceptance: Origin FOB: Destination with delivery to MSSA 160TH SOAR (ABN), Bldg 7244, MSSA, FT. Campbell, KY 42223-6012. Required delivery date, 30 April 06, however, partial and early delivery is acceptable and preferable. The NAICS code for this item is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750. Salient characteristics: Items proposed must meet all size, fit and performance standards of the referenced Aerospace Optics, Inc?s part numbers. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.207-4 Economic Purchase Quantity Supplies; 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Represetations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Offerors are instructed to complete this section and return with their quote); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DOA1. Interested parties should respond via e-mail, no later than 12:00 noon est on 28 February 2006.
