- The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), MAGTF C2 Weapons and Sensor Development and Integration (MC2I) Directorate intends to negotiate and award a sole source life cycle support contract for the Communication Data Link System (CDLS) Processor Suite. The CDLS Processor Suite is based on the Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI) developed by Ultra Electronics, Inc., 3300 Duval Road, Suite 200, Austin TX 78759. The life cycle support contract will encompass all sustainment efforts for Configuration Management, Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS), follow-on hardware procurement, documentation maintenance, training, help desk support, engineering studies, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), component obsolescence oversight, Vendor Level Maintenance (VLM), and Program Management. The contract will include a base and four option years. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No RFP exists for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities in writing to the contracting officer by 1200 EST 10 April 2006. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Note 22 applies.
