- Description
- The U.S Navy has a requirement for designing, building, and testing developmental non-halon fire extinguishing systems for the engine, APU, lavatory and handheld fire extinguishers associated with the Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft, P-8A. In support of this requirement, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with The Boeing Company, PO BOX 3707, 7755 East Marginal Way, Seattle, Washington 98124-2499. This order will be awarded on a sole-source basis to The Boeing Company, which is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data required to perform these tasks within the necessary time frame.
