- **CONTRACTORS ARE NOTIFIED THAT AMENDMENT 0001 TO THE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION HAS BEEN UPLOADED. A NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR 3/2/06. SEE AMENDMENT FOR DETAILS. DUE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 2/28/06 TO 3/13/06** The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement for the design and fabrication of an antenna control and monitoring system for a one (1) each 13 meter antenna and one (1) each 14.2 meter antenna at the Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station, Wallops, VA. The systems shall be installed at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Services (NESDIS) Command and Data Acquisition (CDA) Station at Wallops, VA. Currently, the 13M antenna at Wallops is used for communications with the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES). Currently, the 14.2M antenna at Wallops is used for communications with the Polar Operational Environmental Satellites (POES), a backup for Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) and Advance Composite Explorer satellite (ACE). Antennas are due for delivery no later than 9 months after date of award. This is a full and open requirement and all responsible businesses may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Government. The Request for Quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. All contractors that intend on providing a proposal are requested to email the Contract Specialist, Michele McCoy at Michele.A.McCoy@noaa.gov and provide your company name, phone number and contact. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. For information regarding registration in CCR contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Contractors are asked to provide their (DUNS) Dun and Bradstreet nine digit number along with their quotation. Quotes can be faxed to 757-441-3786 or mailed to U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, Eastern Region Acquisition Division, 200 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510. No telephone requests will be honored. This is a Commercial Acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 apply.
