- The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives, is issuing this Amendment 0001 to the solicitation to extend the due date for receipt of questions to Wednesday, February 22, 2006, COB. All related documents are available electronically through the following website: http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.htm. Interested parties can obtain a copy of this RFP and amendment by accessing the above website. No verbal request for the solicitation package or questions will be honored.***** The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives, is seeking proposals from a contractor to replace/refurbish the Robotic Camera Pan and Tilt Control System for the House Chamber. The existing system has been in successful operation for more than 15 years. The system will be installed by the vendor selected and tested under the guidance of the House Recording Studio personnel. The vendor will provide training manuals and direct training sessions and will be required to offer a sustainment and support program that can be utilized by the House. This Request for Proposal (RFP), all related documents and amendments, if any, is available electronically through the following website http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.htm. Interested parties can obtain a copy of this RFP by accessing the above website. A pre-proposal conference will be held Friday, February 17th at 10:30 a.m. in B310 Rayburn House Office Building. See Section L.1 for additional information and requirements on the pre-proposal conference and questions. The deadline for submitting questions is February 20, 2006.
