- FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia intends to procure maintenance (parts and labor) of lektrievers located at the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), Mechanicsburg, PA. Maintenance services shall include, but not be limited to, a preventive maintenance inspection of all equipment during the first month of each quarter as well as unlimited emergency calls between the hours of 0700 and 1600, Monday through Friday for the entire contract period. Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00140-06-Q-0999 contemplates a firm fixed price contract. Base Period of Performance 01 April 2006 through 30 September 2006, plus two one-year option periods. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is set aside 100% for small business firms. The applicable NAICS Code is 333319 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. It is requested that qualified sources are capable of providing all of the following Contract Line Item Numbers: 0001 Base Period - Lektriever Maintenance for the period 01 April 2006 though 30 September 2006, 2 quarters (time) ; 0002 Option I- Lektriever Maintenance for the period 01 October 2006 though 30 September 2007, 4 quarters (time); 0003 Option II- Lektriever Maintenance for the period 01 October 2007 though 30 September 2008, 4 quarters (time). Current equipment to be maintained: Model 100 Lektrievers, QTY 17; Model 110 Lektrievers, QTY 2; Model 80 Lektrievers, QTY 23; Model LK-S80M Lektrievers, QTY 2; Model LK-S80 Lektrievers, QTY 3. Serial numbers, location of equipment and technical points of contact will be provided at award. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, is applicable to this procurement. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
