- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting prospective contractors able to provide technical Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) technical geophysical support for on-going investigation and remedial activities at various areas on the Massac husetts Military Reservation, Cape Cod, MA. Possible efforts include reprocessing of historic EM-61 geophysical data including description of data reduction processes used, location of geophysical and/or positional data gaps, QA/QC validation of geophysica l data including discussions of data quality, generation of geophysical reports listing possible Munitions or Explosives of Concern (MEC) items (dig lists), prioritization ranking of possible buried MEC items, on-going development of current MMR discrimina tion protocols for historical and current geophysical data packages. The contractor could also be responsible for the creation of a technology database for MEC detection and remediation technologies. This solicitation will be available on or about 10 March 2006. Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is 100% set aside for HUB ZONE contractors. The applicable NAICS code is 54199 0 with a Small Business Size Standard of $6,500,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
