Description
This is a requirement for the overhaul/modification of the F-15 Air Cooling Turbine. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul/modification, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F-15 Air Cooling Turbine. A firm fixed priced, Minimum/Maximum, Indefinite Quantity contract for two years is contemplated. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul/Modify NSN 1660-01-063-1213, P/N: 571545-7-1 and/or NSN 1660-01-394-2481, P/N: 571545-8-1 to be delivered as: NSN 1660-01-394-2481, P/N: 571545-8-1, Noun; Air Cooling Turbine; Applicable to F-15 aircraft; Minimum Quantity: 14 each, Maximum Quantity: 120 each Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 14 each per month. Contractor?s proposed lead time will be ranked as the number one evaluation criteria. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 6 Mar 2006. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: Aero Kool Corp. and Honeywell International. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
