- Description
- The work consists of supplying 22 native grass and forb seed species for the Forest Service in Oregon and Washington. Purity, germination, noxious weed tested seed shall be provided by the government for field establishment. The Contractor?s growing facility must be located within the Columbia River Basin of eastern Oregon or eastern Washington. This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, commercial item, performance-based service contract spanning multiple years (5 years). Contract award will be based on the criteria stated under INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS ? COMMERCIAL ITEMS in the Solicitation. Sufficient awards will be made to provide for adequate competition for task orders. The Government anticipates approximately 8 awards with at least 4 of the 8 being with Small Business concerns. Over the duration of the contract, individual task orders with actual quantities will be issued and competed. When placing Task Orders, Small Business concerns will be given first consideration?. The Bureau of Land Management is authorized to issue task orders against this contract. The NAICS Code is 111998 with a Small Business size standard of $0.75 million. The total value of the contract will not exceed $1,000,000. Solicitation will be issued and posted to FedBizOpps March 7, 2006 with an offer due date of April 7, 2006.
