- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to supply equipment and operators for the reconstruction of stream channels and in-stream placement of logs and boulders to restore fist habitat in Resurrection Creek. Project work site is located in the Western Kenai Mountains at the northern end of the Kenai Peninsula on the Chugach National Forest. The stream flows northwardly into the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet near the town of Hope, Alaska. Equipment used to accomplish this contract will vary from excavators, dozers and rock trucks. Project is estimated to start approximately 10 May 2006 and be completed by 15 July 2006. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Award of this project to be accomplished under Full and Open Competition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 06 March 2006 for viewing and printing. Offers will be due approximately 05 April 2006.
