- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for engineering services and support, design and development, redesign, production, maintenance and repair efforts for the Department of Defense Shipboard System Trainers (SST), all components thereof and all related interfaces in accordance with NAVSEA Specifications T8901-XX-SS-0010/BFTT, T8901-XX-IRS/IDD-010/BFTT and T89001-XX-SSD-010. This acquisition is for a five-year ordering period utilizing an IDIQ contract. The solicitation will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2), only one sole source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy the agency requirements. An offer will be solicited from AAI Corporation, 124 Industry Lane, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-3342. The solicitation will be available on or about 31 March 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil.supply/announce.htm. Estimated closing date is on or about 5 May 2006.
