- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION N62467-06-R-2309 WHICH IS BEING ISSUED AS A SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, is seeking to award a Firm Fixed-Price to provide Janitorial Services for the Marine Corps Reserve Training Center, 3026 George Washington Blvd., Wichita, Kansas to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The 2002 NAICS Code for this Solicitation is 561720 Building Cleaning Services, Janitorial, and the small business size standard is $15 Mil. Federal Supply Code is S201. Under FAR guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 20 percent of the contract work with his-or-her own employees. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. The Government intends to issue the Request for Proposal (RFP) electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on 17 February 2006. Prospective Offerors MUST register themselves on the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official plan holder?s list will be maintained on, and may be printed from the Website. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Offerors MUST also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. The website for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
