Description

Solicitation 8006-11 seeks helicopter flight services for three separate locations. Services are for fully contractor operated and maintained aircraft services (AS350B2, AS350B3, BH206LIV with high altitude tail rotor system, or BH 407 type aircraft are expected to fulfill the solicitation requirements) to support the Bureau of Land Management in their fire management mission programs. The helicopters will be based at #1, Elko, NV with a use period of 90 days, June 5 through September 2; #2, St. George, UT with a use period of 90 days, May 25 through August 22; and #3 Vale, OR with a use period of 90 days, June 1 through August 29. Each item includes an option to extend the contract up to an additional three years. Contractor(s) must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 17, 2006. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made. Solicitation information will be available through the fedbizopps site (found under Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, NBC, Aviation Management Headquarters, Boise, ID and at www.oas.gov. Set aside for small business.
