Description

The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle management Command plans to acquire 26 each Receiver Transmitter, , RT-1532F', NSN 5821-01-531-1510, used with the AN/ARS-6(V)12 Personnel Locator System. The AN/ARS-6(V)12 is a set of air borne electronic equipment designed to quickly and precisely locate downed airmen who are equipped with the AN/PRC-112G survival radio. This requirement will be acquired on a sole source basis from Cubic Defense System (CDS), 9333 Balboa Ave, San Diego, C A 92123.This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, pro posals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request For Proposal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The type of contract shall be firm-fixed price. Shipment shall b e FOB Destination to Ship to: Q98981,Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 351 Morgan Lane, West Haven CT 06516, MARK FOR MH-60S Government Stores, POC Dwain Harry 203 932-7864, Delivery shall be 3 per month commencing March 2006 The contract shall be rated DO-A7. The requirements of FAR 52.212.1, 52.212.2, 52.212.3, 52.212.4 and 52.212.5 shall be incorporated in the solicitation. Proposals, along with completed provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, shall be electronically forwarded not later than close of business 17 March 2006 to: Thomas S.
