Description

The 16th Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to BAE systems for the annual maintenance (technical support and upgrades) for the following SOCET SET Software: Quantity 3 EA 500-UE Core Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 501-UE Stereo Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 502-UE Multisensor Triangulation (MST) (Also known as Block Triangulation) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 503-UE Automatic Point Measurement (APM) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 504-UE Automatic Terrain Extraction (ATE) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 505-UE Interactive Terrain Editor (ITE) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 506-UE Feature Extraction (FE) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 507-UE Ortho Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 508-UE Advanced Sensor Modules (ASM) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 1 EA 509-UE TopScene Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 511-UE DataThruWay (DTW) Upgrade Entitlement Quantity 3 EA 512-UE Dodger Upgrade Entitlement A firm fixed price purchase order is contemplated with delivery (service) to begin immediately upon award. Place of Delivery (Service) shall be USSOCOM/SCSO-J24-O (SOFPREP) USSOCOM Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) #1 Hurlburt Field FL. Period of Performance: 1 year (12 Months) Basic period, with (12 month) option periods. Order shall be FOB Destination. This solicitation is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541511, with a small business size standard of $21 Million. The corresponding Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7371, Computer Software Support Services, Custom. This Sole Source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government believes that BAE Systems are the only known source that has the proprietary information and design expertise to provide this software, maintenance and technical support. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the government?s requirement at or before 1530 hrs (3:30) Central Standard Time Zone on 3 Apr 2006. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
